Storyline
A college faculty member bonds with Associate in Nursing abandoned dog he takes into his home.
Commuting by train, music faculty member Parker Wilson finds Associate in Nursing Akita puppy, whose cage poor ignored throughout shipping, feat his destination unknown, and since the station cannot take care of it and also the employee warns even such cute ones might not be adopted within the fortnight allowed, he kindly takes it home. Parker’s Japanese school friend Ken evokes naming the pup Hachi(ko) and is pleasantly shocked once Parker with success tackles the challenge to urge it to fetch, that Akitas do not sometimes do. Hachi makes a habit of looking ahead to his equally fond master at the station each evening, however, once a viscus crisis, Parker dies.
